Last Sunday, I went and had my belly button pierced. At some places, you have the option to numb the area before piercing. The place I chose didn't.
But, that didn't even matter. It felt like getting a shot from the doctor. It looks great, no redness nor infection. Less is more when it comes to cleaning, in my opinion.

Great fair play to you.Smile. I have my bottom lip, and right eyebrow done. And the lip, was the more painful of the two..numbing is becoming rare, as it can cause infection.

Oh cool! Those piercings are definitely neat... what kind of ring did you end up getting?

Good luck! I would say definetely clean the belly bar though... and salt water is probably best, as these antiseptic agents can be too strong and cause more trouble that anything. I had my belly button pierced in July, and admittedly I kept catching it, but it was ok. Only now, this many months later it has decided to migrate and is growing out! To which end I am absolutely gutted, cos I loved it and I really want it still! I refuse to remove it until it falls out! And I fully intend to get it redone in a few months time! I'd definetely advise looking after it and keeping it clean though! Good luck and I hope it doesn't migrate!

Va3ets I got a joined ring which open up to allow you to attach things to it, I was thinking of joining the two piercings with a chain of some sort, but sadly, there are some eejits who would love to rip it out. I've heard some hooroe stories regarding eyebrow piercings, mainly that the piecring can become over grown and fall out, hasn't happened so far.We could do without all this disinformation.
